Frequently asked questions
Are my PDF files uploaded to a server?
No. All merging happens entirely in your browser using pdf-lib. Your files never leave your device and nothing is sent to any server.
How many PDFs can I merge at once?
There is no hard limit on the number of files. You can merge as many PDFs as your device's available memory allows.
Can I change the order of the PDFs before merging?
Yes. Drag and drop the files in the list to reorder them, or use the up/down arrows on each row. The final PDF will follow the order shown.
Does this work with password-protected PDFs?
Password-protected PDFs that require a password to open cannot be merged. Remove the password protection first, then upload the file.
What is the output file name?
The merged file is downloaded as merged.pdf. You can rename it after downloading.
